Custom Work
Got a weird idea that needs to be built?
Tunaboots takes on custom fabrication for events, installations, and productions. The process starts with concept sketches from a conversation, moves through 3D modelling to nail scale and form, then into patterns, schematics, and fabrication. Sewing patterns, 3D assets, electronic systems — get in touch through the contact page and let's figure out what we can make together.

About
I make art that breaks the mundane.
My practice is about bringing wonder and play back into the everyday — creating whimsical, exploratory environments that feel both calming and alive. I work in soft forms because tactile touch matters, and because there is something about a large, creature-like presence that invites people to slow down, connect, and look at the world a little differently. My work hints at unseen worlds just beneath the surface of the everyday.
I love pushing the boundaries of what interactive public art can be and learning new skills along the way. Every project is an excuse to figure out something I didn't know how to do before.
Everything I make is collaborative — bringing together fabricators, technologists, and artists to build work none of us could have made alone.
Open to commissions, collaborations, and interesting conversations.
Fun fact: the name TunaBoots came from a telephone miscommunication when Genevieve was little, and later became a household joke. A good reminder to accept the absurdity in life.
